Rick's Web Factory started in 1997 to create a web site to be used with a Physical Science course being taught at
Macomb Community College, Located in Warren, Michigan. The site was created
and designed in conjunction with a Physical Science Instructor by the name of Dr.
Michael H. Suckley. ScienceScene had started out as supplement
to the classroom work. The web site is now being used as an on-line course at
Macomb Community College. The software applications used at the
time were limited to Microsoft
Office Suite 97. Student "data sheets" were created as "Word"
documents, "Word" input forms. The students filled in the data forms
with their data, then printed them out to be turned in to the instructor in
a notebook form. It then went on to "Excel" spreadsheets that students
would enter their mathematical data, which in turn would be printed out and
turned in to the instructor. What makes these spreadsheets unique
is that "IF" statements are used extensively to give the student a go/no go,
the data is acceptable or not acceptable. If the data is not acceptable;
Re-run the experiment to obtain the proper data. Since that beginning we
have worked with different types of businesses and organizations finding
solutions to their web creation. As of this time over 300 known
students have benefited from this web site.

We will consult on aspects of a web presence. We can arrange a web host and registration of your domain name. We can train a person for making web pages or we can make the web pages for you at a flat rate for simple web pages 1 . If you want to get a little fancy, such as animated graphics, we can do that also. We offer a line of services and consultations on a per hour basis.
