Rick's Web Factory not only builds web pages, but we also can help with other aspects of computerdom, such as doing disk maintenance, clear hard disk drives of virus' and spyware/adware, installation of software, Microsoft Office training and other software, training on how to perform your own anti-virus, spyware/adware and hard drive maintenance, installation of upgrades. Unlike what you have seen on TV recently about service companies, Rick's Web factory is local to Wayne, Oakland and Macomb. These other companies may work out of California, maybe as close as Pennsylvania. They may contract with local computer companies to service your computer. Oh, by the way we come to your home or place of business, so there is no hefting or hauling of your computer, it stays home were it likes to be.
Like vehicles computers need to be tuned up from time to time. If one comfortable changing ones oil or plugs in their vehicle one can do that if not you call in mechanic and let them That is were Rick's Web Factory comes in a computer mechanic, at your service.
Initial visit to do maintenance:
Scan and clean up hard drive of
virus'.
Scan and clean up hard drive of
spyware/adware.
Check firewall settings.
If there are not any of these types of applications on a private home computer, the
applications will be provided free of charge. These applications require
downloading and registration of software, but be assured the companies only use
the registration to alert a person to update their applications, none resell your
information.
These applications can only be used on non-business, private home computers. If
it is a business these same applications can be purchased from the same sources
at very reasonable prices. Understand if we start from square one, that the time
involved will be anywhere from 4 to 5 hours to complete. While we are
there we will advise and suggest as to the proper precautions to take to keep it
from getting clogged up with spyware/adware and virus'.

Installation of software package:
Rick's Web Factory will install most software packages.
$35.00/software installation (most
will require one half an hour to forty five minutes per installation)
Installation of Upgrades:
computer cards and card related software and drivers
Hard Drives
DVD/CD ROMS, DVD/CD Burners
Memory
Rick's Web Factory will install upgrades and if need be install related software
and drivers. Related software would be software that is required to make
the upgrade function. This does not include software that is included with
device as an ancillary application. Computer must be out of warranty
period as Rick's Web Factory is not related with any manufacture's equipment
service. Any service done to computers still under warranty may void
warranty of equipment.
